Medina, Ohio (August 29, 2016) — Two doctoral candidates from Cleveland State University have joined Psychology Consultants, Inc., for a year-long training program.
Students Stephanie Garcia and Brittany Carbaugh will work at PCI’s Westlake private practice office, where they will provide mental health services to the community.
As part of their practicum, the students will gain experience working with diverse populations in a private practice setting. They will also receive exposure to long-term care facilities, where they’ll work with elderly populations and learn the interdisciplinary approach to treatment.
“Stephanie and Brittany are both exceptional students, and we’re excited to have them complete their training with us,” said Erika Staneff, PsyD, clinical director for Psychology Consultants, Inc. “Through this program, I hope to show them the traditional and non-traditional opportunities for working with patients.”
